If I may offer some advice? feel free to take it or not. Your words are written well and well thought out, I believe they are more of a journal than a prose, still they are strong, but I would suggest you may want to go deeper, if you can, be specific about what caused the emotions you speak of. focus on one event, live in that events emotions, and then write about that. but what you have is strong and enjoyable to read. keep at it.
