Fear Me Poem by Brandi Guthrie

Fear Me

Rating: 5.0

So you`re a vertical man with constant endurance,
Steadfast in your decision making skills.
Willing to bet your mind I can shred that assurance?
Drain your core essence less till it kills.
You look strong and solid, you may even stay for a spell..
In my torturous funhouse made for two.
All too soon you start to swoon unaware you`ve slipped into hell.
Remaining devoted through and through.
I`m the most vile specimen of selfishness you will ever meet.
But you`ll never see me coming.
I`ll disguise myself as a damsel distressed fainting before your feet.
It won`t even feel like slumming.
My virtue ripped at an early age has gnarled a once modest mind.
Stripping me of right and wrong.
Mostly feels like being wrenched over gravel, bleeding from the grind
I was never that strong.
I`m a destroyer of faith and strength, the ever breaking storm.
Consuming slow forever on.
I will breathe on the edge of suicide, twisting you till you`re torn.
You need not fear me once I`m gone.

Insanely terrific, but is it true?
