Fed To Feed On Deception Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Fed To Feed On Deception

One's own greed,
Can backbite to have them bleed.
And...
One's own selfishness,
Can leave them disgraced forever.
Yet...
One's own ego,
Remains intact although entraps.
Since an ego like this has,
Only lived a life to live like that.

One's own greed,
Fed to feed on deception.
And...
One narcissistic sickened,
Seeks to be seen as a king or queen.
Just to undermine,
And demean...
Rules, laws, justice and reality.

One's own greed,
Can backbite to have them bleed.
Yet...
One to feed on deception,
Only knows this as their reality.
