Feeling A Bit Squirrelly Poem by Ted Sheridan

Feeling A Bit Squirrelly

Rating: 5.0

Sitting with his back to the wall
bushy tail took a break from it all
twenty killer cigarettes to a pack
and a bottle of Gentleman Jack

the old bearded bum seated next to him
was going to make an honest attempt
to organize his life in a more proper context.
After all he hadn't just fallen

out of that tree yesterday.
The squirrel had found his nut.___

Charming, Tedster. I think that you would really appreciate Lee Ann Brown, deemed one of the wittiest and most inventive of younger American poets. her book was um, 'Polyverse.' keep on SusxGLx
