Felix Randal's Reply

In my 'more boisterous years'
when I, 'at the random grim forge,
powerful amongst peers'
did 'fettle for the great grey
dreghorse his bright and battering sandal',
what thought needed I
last tears would endear
me to a poet,
and that poet endear?
