Fifth Of June 53

When they asked, 'What do you think, Doug? '
about what they were talking about,
having been thinking about the date today
and not knowing what they were on about,
I said, 'What I'm thinking is
it was 54 years ago today
that President Kennedy was shot.'

Although I was only 170 days over ten,
perhaps because,
I have never forgotten that date
and the shooting that happened then.
