Figure Of Speech Poem by Lauren Coles

Figure Of Speech

When people say I'm so hungry I can eat a horse they can't really ďo that,
A horse would not taste that good,
When people say break a leg they don't mean that they want to break a leg because that would hurt,
When people say that you are in the doghouse they are in big trouble,
People take it the wrong way when people use these phrases,
That's what school is for.
