Final Kick - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Final kick

I read and reread
Over the people as living dead
No place to hide head
Keep the family with and lead

Refuges taken all over world
To escape from miseries untold
No education for children
For adults only living hell

Let us praise many countries
Who supported and allowed entries
But some feared terrorists attack on their soil
So paid penalty and not allowed people to avail hospitality

To some extent, their concern is legitimate
So they fear and hesitate
Even for humanitarian aspect
This was startling fact

We may feel humanity is died
The high moral values are dried
But no one shall take risk
Until all are uniting to give final kick
