(to Marja Kristiina and her admirers
.......of “A Home From The Heart”)
her hands are clever,
they are,
picking,
.....sorting,
..........snipping,
..............arranging.
What meaning now is sought?
What sentiment now is felt?
What tone will best convey?
la joie de vivre,
le rapproachement of sharing
the Moonin way
weaver bird* of memories,
................wishes,
................................hopes and dreams
wizard of candle light,
................sunshine,
.................................shades and beams
tying and tucking
folding and glowing
quelle finesse, quelle créativité
une veritable cadeau
.......................to unfold and behold.

*Weaver birds, also known as weaver finches, get their name because of their elaborately woven nests (the most elaborate of any birds') . The nests vary in size, shape, material used, and construction techniques from species to species.
Ben, With you there are always lessons learned in your beautifull poems...10! You really are a creative master among poets.(I had used the word giant, then my heart said, 'No, Master! ') ...and so it is. Dorothy
Very enjoyable. I like the way that the layout weaves and tucks in sync with the narrative.

Your intricately woven words inspire me to check out these feathered crafties. Not a word wasted in this very pretty poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
