Fire Consumes What It Touches - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Fire consumes what it touches!
But, love changes the heart;
And, your blue eyes will always be remembered.

Eat like a king and sleep like a queen!
For the roses of true love leads one to peace;
But, fire consumes what it touches.

    I love this! Trapped between love that is good for us and love that is bad but powerful and consuming. That's what I see in this? Thanks (Report) Reply
