Firm Grip Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Firm Grip

I shall not hide
And certainly confide
That you were the only person
I had loved so far with reasons

The garden has flowers
With different colors
Unique fragrance
And I had you as a pure chance

Love me forever
And miss never
I am here and there
To remind you from everywhere

You can confine me in your age
Inscribe me with golden ink on page
I shall emerge as your special friend
That had been dream and shall so till end

Never let me escape from grip
With your strong arm around to keep
I shall miss that embrace for time to come
I shall ever be eager to welcome

Be assured
When I am featured
As an ordinary man and asset
For you to know and let
