First Of July - Poem by Aminat Opatola

A radiant beauty is born,
a lovely little infant there came,
face softly fair all brightly glowing with perfect faith,
its the first day of july as earth pleasantly welcomes a soul,

oh! its a girl,
hearts all delighted capturing her innocence with love and laughs,
her alluring face so small savouring a newly earthly chills,

in mists of faceswelcoming her brightness with homely tones,
now all grown she is,
full of sparkled elation,

its her day, brighted with beautiful wishes and grace,
what special opportunity blown from above,
with pleasantness, and sweetness,
more than smooth seas and clouded skies,
where happiness dwells in sweetest form and all smiling faces joyously swells,

her wishes seated like ice curding the stream,

finally opening a special month full of golden rays.,
welcoming texts of well wishers and devoutees prayers with aided delights,

ageing to joy and blessings as heaven itself looks pure and blest,
can you see her smile!
How fondly smile,
dazzling in pure rosiness with blessed grace specially spent,

happy birthday to her,
as sunshine of joy guilded through,
breeze blows in gorgeous urn,
the dews are alive in their dropping views,
the light glowing upon it do her wishes blow,
the trees celebrates along with jubilant dances,
while the birds sings across in merriment view,
through heart wishing her days glows in perfect wonders,
more grace, heart desires and blessings through her years with merry blow,

all thanks to the ever gracious and forgiving God.
More grace to her world as she beautiful rep july1st
Happy birthday to me.
