First rain ofthe year
On perfect time in bangalore
The garden City

Earthy scent of petrichor
Predicted showers, secret drizzles
Stuffy windows and doors
Opened wide to the sudden guest

Cups of hot tea and kachori
Snacked by folks
Clicks on the romantic
Season's first sizzling entry

Downpour brought it's usual
Travails, traffic chaos
Waterlooging, puddles

Here and there, pockets
Of hailstones, gust of powerful wind
Kept at bay the sweltering heat
