First The Parable, Then The Miracle! Poem by Denis Martindale

God knows before we even speak, or weep, or mourn, or groan,
No wonder that His face we seek, amazing grace to own.
Our God provides the things we need, the land, the sun, the rain,
Yet we provide one mustard seed once we get born again.

Our Saviour gave us parables that grant us His insight,
As well as all His miracles that brought so much delight.
Our God continues day by day to listen to our prayers,
So think about the words we say, because we know God cares.

Christ is the Chosen, this we know! Christ is the King of Kings!
With blessings meant to overflow, to help us in all things.
If you know what I'm getting at, then pray and pray and pray!
Amen to this, Amen to that, then watch God have His way!
