Fishing Time - Poem by Marjorie DeBol DeFazio

Hands in pockets
Pants tucked neatly in his boots
He stood looking at the river
Brown cap with earflaps down
Keeping the cold at bay
This sunny February morning
Longing by the river
His eyes measured the banks
Dreaming of fishing time

perfect in it's simplicity and truth, it is like a memory from my own mind.
