Now, it's six o'clock in the morning.
Silver disc moon sits on top of a maple tree.
Under dim sky, there are no glittering stars.
I wonder if these stars are already set or covered by clouds?
Night dew glitters on wooden deck behind my house.
Moon light appears milky white like house night light.
Five cats stand outside, waiting for their morning meal.
They surround me as soon as I step out with their tray.
They enjoy eating and their five heads cover their food tray.
There are plenty of food and they eat at the same time.
They disperse after filling their stomach.
They either walk, run or bask in moon light.

NĂM MÈO CHỜ ĂN SÁNG
Bây giờ, sáng sáu giờ rồi
Trăng như đĩa bạc, trăng ngồi ngọn phong.
Trời mờ, không ánh sao giăng
Sao đêm đã lặn hay là mây che?
Sương đêm lóng lánh sau hè
Mầu trăng như sữa, đèn đêm cùng mầu.
Năm mèo đứng đợi chờ ăn
Khay ăn tôi đặt, vội vàng xúm quanh.
Vui ăn, mèo chụm năm đầu
Mèo ăn thoải mái, cùng nhau chia phần.
Ăn xong, mèo lại tản ra
Con đi, con chạy, con nằm tắm trăng.
