Five Is Nature

Re garlic,
it's natural for one foot of it
to have a varying number of toes -
that's how garlic grows.

But if you ask for a hand of bananas,
and the shopkeeper
pulls out one with fingers 8,
you say, 'Give it a break!
I want nature, mate.'
