Flight of fancy

I 've flown on a single engine plane
The noise nearly driving me insane
A twin engine was much better
An old Viscount a different matter
I 've been on planes a lot some steady some dancing
My best flying experience though is my flight of fancy

In my flight of fantasy i go wild
In my flight of fancy i am a child
I had a honeymoon on the moon
Went to seek a fortune on Neptune
Rode my horse "Wish" round the globe
Beyond our galaxy i strode and rode

My flight of fantasy helps in my poetry
I never have issues with reality re entry
I keep it real within my flight of fancy
Knowing it's just my flight of fancy
