A Flower
Poem by phisician and poetess:
Hana Al-Qadhi
Translation: Freeyad Ibrahim
I am you
And you are you
The narcissus blossoms not but in your blood
O, for your harshness!
Even the thrones give birth to a flower!
Has the time not come for your ice,
to melt with passion in the warmth of familiarity?
Be like the flower
be satisfied with nothing but the sunlight and the freshness of
the river.
Let your fragrance be unlike any other fragrances
Inside a garden he sat down absent-mindedly, sulky and sullen! !
They asked him..he said
I lost a flower! ! !
