Flower Petal - Poem by Uriah Hamilton
Her breath on a pillow
Whispering my name in her sleep,
This would make me happy
In the ephemeral world
Where there is nothing we can keep.
To touch her soul
Like you might gently caress
A flower petal,
That is enough
For this journey of goodbyes.
