Flowers - Poem by Angel Rein

I wish we wouldnt hide in the shadows so much
for the more we walk into the shadows the
more we feel our hearts darken and wilt.
I believe our hearts are like flowers
first we bloom and if we walk toward the
light then we keep blooming
but if we walk toward the shadows
then we stop blooming and we wilt.
first we loose ourselves then we loose our leaves
wich are like the hearts of those who care for us
they might not stop caring but we feel as if they do
so eventually our stems break and we die
and our leaves die a little inside to, sometimes our leaves help us find our way and though our stems may break our roots never die.
