Following Mom's Advice Poem by Ima Ryma

Following Mom's Advice

Old fashioned mother of the bride
For her daughter had some advice.
Clothed discretion should be her guide.
Seen in the nude was never nice
By the new husband to occur.
So when in bed do wear something.
The daughter told her mother, 'Sure.'
New husband began wondering,
And asked about insanity,
After two weeks wed gal and guy,
Being in his wife's family.
His wife said, 'No, ' and asked him why.

'It's just I've been noticing that'
'To bed you wear that silly hat.'
