Fong - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Fong - Lincoln Park Zoo

I am the sun bear catching rays,
Ever sunning to stay bear buff.
Actually, I've a bright furred blaze
On my chest, and so the sun stuff.
From Southeast Asia bears my bears.
Long sharp claws and teeth for to munch.
Varied flora and fauna wares,
But honey is my fav'rite lunch.
Often sleep but don't hybernate.
I snooze mostly during the day.
For naps a hollow log is great,
Dreams of honey - what can I say!

I hang out in the Lincoln Park Zoo,
Every day and Sunday too.
