Food - The Correct Order Poem by Paul Warren

Food - The Correct Order

Who decided that it was meat and veg
Before your can eat your sweet pledge
Perhaps it is something to do with the palate
That means it savoury before the sweet plate
So we are left with this eatery notion
With no change to this culinary potion.

I remember once at Najars, I was served desert first. And that was in its early days. Must be a demand there Paul. How about we open a joint together, serve that demand?
