Fool - Poem by Israh Sadan

Like a pendulum set
I vacillate between
Fool - forgive
Hurt - happiness
Palpitations pacing the beat.
The faster it ticks my
Thought hardly find time
To touch clarity when
Doubt flings it back
The to-and-fro is
hardly hypnotic
FOOL - forgive
FOOL - forget

Hurtful images hasten
To remind me
Of the deep deep
Thrust to my gut
How I touched my chest
Sure to find blood there
FOOL to forgive
FOOL to forget.

the ending to both sections creates a powerful effect...fool....and fool to
sends out a portent message....we all put down a lot to experience

    be happy
