For Mirtha On Her Birthday
Leaving worries in Nicaragua
Finding such great love in Canada
The girl dressed in shades of blue
Says to Brian: I Love You
She's Christian through and through
Church is from whence she grew
Bible study is her life's passion
Because she believes in redemption
Pouring her heart into cooking
For her hubby Brian's tasting
Christian music her awakening
Swimming her form of exercising
Every day reading the Holy Book
Especially when she's slow to cook
Reading books on relationships
Hoping for some beloved tips
Thank you, Rini. She and her husband are good friends of mine. It's her 50th and he asked me to surprise her with a poem.
