Every stage
Every age
Though passes
All in a flash
Leaves an indelible mark
From the innocence
Of childhood to
Matured ruminations
And a care-not youth
In between;
Let go of the years
But do take care of
The child who remains
In you to the last :)
loads of wisdom in the lines your dedication to a fellow poet is welcome... it has an inherent message too if i may dare! sometimes we coddle the child too much and let it hold on to its teddy bears with insane abandon lovely lines, off handed, simple, from the heart, sincere and steeped in good old folksy sagacity
Lovely poem! ! ! Simple yet beautifully written! ! ! there is a child inside everyone of us n we shouldn’t lose that child! ! ! ! A lovely dedication.
Such a lovely musing in appreciation of a fellow poet is indeed an honor! A wonderful tribute to a friend, is all I would say! I am proud to meet great persons like Ms Indira Babbellapati and.s Shazia Batool!
It is rare to find a poem/s appreciating and encouraging another fellow poet. Both the poems though different in contents convey the fact that the poet Shahzia is a firebrand & a fighter not to buckle down due to the unfavourable circumstances/condition. She may have childlike countenance but carry a mature head on her shoulders. She always enthralls us with her insightful comments, constructive opinions and suggestions. She acts as a teacher and an appreciative critique. I fully agree with poet that Shahzia is the one who is bound to attain greater heights. I am fortunate to get my recently released poetry book ‘ Children of Lost Gods’ reviewed by her and am astounded to find her range to look into the minds of the fellow poets. My best wishes to her in all her endeavours for attaining excellence in the poetry world.

Most commendable indeed. Shahzia is a noble soul and deserves all the appreciation. As the poem however pointed out, there is every need however to continue to nurture that which makes the world a dazzle in our eyes. It applies to all of us... to Indira, I can only say...bless.....
A beautiful tribute to a friend of kind heart, passionate beliefs and strong voice that has graced the pages of poemhunter. Simply written, poignant and memorable.
