For Pain Or Desire Poem by Alison Smith

For Pain Or Desire

Rating: 4.8

Gone the primitive desire to create
Now the desire is to enjoy
To wrap ourselves in moments of bliss
But are we ready for the pain

Opening ourselves to moments
Searching forever for completeness
Facing the onslaught
When all falls apart

We expose our hearts
Everytime we search
Then face the pain
That comes from our desire

Maybe pain is desire
Maybe we seek it
Not peace but war
Turmoil is that our destiny?

Very well written! ! ! I have to agree, there is a very fine line between pain and desire, and sometimes they can be both. Its all confusing! ! Keep up the great work, Always, Nick
