For Purity's Sake Poem by Sandra Feldman

For Purity's Sake

Must Everything today
Be a disgrace,
I hear language used
In the public place,
In the cinema, TV,
Offensive to others and to me,
Used at a vertiginous pace,
More and more,
Gutter language,
More arsenic than lace.

Race, face! To embrace the muse of mankind on earth. But, with the odds! ! More arsenic than lace! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
