For Some Of His Official Works - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul
I said my nephew to go at time,
Having patience to complete the work,
With necessary documents,
I said him to complete task properly.
For his official works he was worried,
During office hour he had to go,
I gave consultancy and advice too,
He had to meet there right authority.
His watch failed and did not run,
He woke up early at the morning,
This was cloudy day and it was raining,
He thought this was noon perhaps.
He went to town riding bike soon,
This was not office time, he did not see,
Street light was glowing, he saw mist,
Office was closed, crows were planning.
He called me from there and said me,
"Uncle, you said and I came for nothing, "
I said to go at proper time or to wait,
He blamed cloud, mist and time and all.
