For Somebody Poem by Juliauna (J.jay) Maddux

For Somebody

For somebody so content, you are cracking.
You are seeing all these flaws and components you are lacking.
For somebody who was once the care free hippie, you are being violent.
You cannot hold back those feelings of hurt and torment.
For somebody who never hurts others.
You are hurting everyone, even those as close as brothers.
For somebody who never cries, you are balling.
You feel as if your heart is slowy falling.
For somebody who is not conseded, you're looking in the mirror.
You cant turn away, when you see this girl surrounded by terror.
I cant turn away, when i see myslef surround by terror

You are right about one thing Jay Jay; men are more conceited than women are lol. The have that complex about being men and being handsome, even if they ae ugly. LOL. Did you ever notice it is always the men that have to tell people out loud that they are men. I mean, what gives with that? Anyway, this is another well written piece I can identify with. I have had relationships with guys exactly like this, and I have seen myself slowly turning into this too, but stopped myself, not once, but several times. Thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
