Davy was a boy who loved to munch
said he loved the sound of the crunch
Stuffed crust pizza was heaven for him
said he was born big boned, wasn't meant to be thin.
From an early age he just loved to eat
His poor mother said she was a human teat
Felt like he was eating her alive
but that it was ok, cause he would thrive.
By the time Davy reached aged three
No longer his knees could he see
Shopping for clothes was a weekly task
His belly was growing like treated grass.
When all the other boys played football
he would sit alone eating a chocolate apple
Watching them run about, laugh, and play
Wishing he could join them some day.
But Davy could not stop piling on the pounds
Each footstep he took it shook the ground
Nothing could keep him away from Ice Cream
Not even when he exploded in his dream.
Until one magicial day he met a girl called Sue
Who told him to love her and not the food.
She took his depair and replaced it with love
Now Davy's lost ten stone and she's up the duff.

This is funny and superbly, flowingly written. But it is also deeply sad. Grand work. t x
