For The Five Taken Poem by Paul Warren

For The Five Taken

Sometimes there is wonder I see
In a world where the sunshine shines brightly
And things are so happy and free
Where justice wins so gleefully

Then there are times that are so dark
That your questions remain stark
And the world is tatters all round
It is death that is then found

When lives are ended without reason
And blinds are drawn in grieving
We question why they are taken young
And lives that have just begun.
