For When They Leave You Behind - Poem by shweta khosla

Love is spinning this,
World, around and round.
Running it ground.

Love’s sense of humour,
Surpasses that of a brat’s.
Wake up, smell the rat.

One love’s fool cried,
Experience unexplained,
Like a crazed space ride.

One love’s fool cries,
I caught a glimpse of the world,
Saw it in one’s eyes.

That is just the plight,
Sometimes, when love’s the picture,
Only one person looses sight.

Love spoils the game,
Then you were happily dead,
Now, you’re painfully alive.

What a contrast at the end? happily dead. Painfully alive. (Report)Reply
