For you, I will fake this smile
for you, I will listen
I will nod in agreeance
I will pull back my tears
I will freeze my heart
I will be your friend
I will laugh with you
I will stop calling when I'm upset
I will stop saying I need you
but for me,
I will not chase you
I will not forget you, I couldn't anyways
I will mask myself when with you
I will cry at night
I will restrain myself from physical contact
I will only whisper I love you when you can't hear it
I will never fall over you again,
I couldn't hit ground any closer
