Foreign Affairs - Poem by Meghan

and sex
these things are
foreign and
they terrify me
all entitle the
loss of purity
destruction of innocence
an altered state:
gives birth
and stems
greed, envy and hate
it is easy to
forget another's pain
caught up and wrapt
amongst your
own joy,
oblivious to degradation
