Foreign Laws: A Travel Warning Poem by Terence George Craddock

Foreign Laws: A Travel Warning

when traveling overseas
it is best to be wise
to think before acting
to be aware of laws

foreign laws
are often culturally different
foreign laws
are not home country laws

ignorance of a law
is not an excuse
ignorance of a law
is not a valid excuse

ignorance of a law
is not forgiven when breaking a law
foreign laws
are often stricter more punishment

foreign laws
if sharp stricter are meant to hurt
foreign laws
harsh severe include death sentences
