I thought I saw forever
in your eyes,
not fairytale forever
time of dreams and fantasy;
forever that I saw
so many times
as you looked down
looked up
at me
was two as one
linked path to growth
to pain and living;
now I wonder
were they dreams
those moments?
did I imagine?
or is it just
eternal change
as moments that were,
are lost,
as every moment is,
once lived,
in living now
I have no past
no future
each moment is forever
in your eyes
but always lost
and always here.
