Forget Me Not Poem by Evelyn Norcott

Forget Me Not

if the forget-me-not feels forgotten
then the buffer breaks away
the sun does not rise in the east
and the leaves' colours don't change
the tide falls out with the moon
and the clouds just hang and sway
if the forget-me-not feels forgotten
the earth is not the same
