Forget Me Now Poem by Melanie Weeks

Forget Me Now

Hoping on the road,
Living on a shadow.
Making it like the wind.
Watching It like a movie.

Your heart, is right,
Right where you want it.
Can you feel the freshness?
Can you hear the beat?
Can you feel the rhythm,
The meekness award?

Feeling lost within,
Caught beneath my sin.
Living on the edge of sorrow.
Moving in with anger.

Forgot where you are?
Forgot what you did?
Ever know where your going?
Do you even care?

Wind beneath my wings,
Sunrays over.
Remember, dear,
How life's so easy
To elude.

Remember how,
Relaxing was so easy?
Remember now,
How life's so cold?
How could you do it?

Am I to care?
Why was I so blind?
Senceless nonsense,
Forgeting my loss.
Bound insaneness.

Living this world,
I will die.
Feeling so brezzy,
Life is not easy.

Forget Me Now.
