Forgive Me Poem by Gert Strydom

Forgive me, my Lord, as I am a man of sin
although I do not know all of them and their effect,
even if your own decree has been spoken against me.
Help me to a new clean life of integrity to begin,
to treat other people with respect
forgive my self-conceit and help me to be
a man that by your power do overcome and win,
touch my heart, my soul and my intellect
help me daily to Your straight way to see.
