Forsaken Poem by Susan LeGree

Forsaken

Rating: 5.0

Push me daddy,
push me high
Make my toes touch
the sky
Your big, strong hands
upon my back
keep me safe,
'til they retract
to send me soaring
on my own
and wondering
why you left me
so alone

A very touching poem, Susan. You make the art of painting with words look so simple.
