18.When Chozhan Chenganan appeared in the battle field,
with his sheathed sword and unfastened garland, as the boats roamed
in the billowy sea, the bodies of the warriors dead
did move in the bloodied sea.
19.Chozhan of the Kaveri flowing fertile land fought with his foes
and killed them in the battle. The lances hurled between the two tusks
of the elephants got their sharp edges bathed in blood. The elephants
with pearls inlaid lances, trudged up and seemed to have three tusks.
20.In the fierce battlefield, Chozhan Chenganan of the Kaveri fed land
massacred the foes. The eagles with their wings covered with feathers
of arrows were looting the corpses, shedding blood. That sight likened the melodist's noiseless composing of the drumming sound.
