Forty Quatrains On Battlefield [3-5] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Forty Quatrains On Battlefield [3-5]

Rating: 5.0

3.Those who enter the battlefield where Chozhan Chenganan
of the fertile land, slaughtered the bloopers against him, get tired
to cross over by stirring the blood poured out of the mangled bodies.
They grasp the tusks of the elephants dead to rise and walk.

4.Chozhan Chenganan massacred his foes in the battlefield.
The elephant which smashed the chariots of the enemies
And carried off the field likened the sun
setting at the western hills.

5.The king, Chozhan Chenganan decimated his foes in the war.
The blood gushed from the wounds caused by arrows and spears.
The crows which ate the blood got wet, lost their usual black vein,
and bore a back reddened and beaks looked alike of the kingfishers.
