Fountain Of Joy Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Fountain Of Joy

Rating: 5.0

My arms are empty as I recall your voice…
Traveling across the ocean was your choice
I celebrate your days of sun and falling rain
As you seek a multicolored rainbow in Spain

The beckoning fountain in the square
Sprays a mist of joy into the air
You stand with arms reaching to the sky
Your gusto matches the height of 'oh my! '

Captured with a shuttered snap and dash
This moment in a photograph will last
Life is made up of treasures like these
Expressions of glee that surely please
