Four Haiku Poem by Barry Middleton

Four Haiku

Rating: 5.0

Sea Haiku

the bellicose sea
defeated by a mute beach
strength in grains of sand

Bird Haiku

the feathered soaring
arose like sullen mankind
from saurian swamps

Death Haiku

as the seasons pass
the wise forest never grieves
new trees grow from death

Woman Haiku

a strange enigma
the fearsome strength of woman
her frail tenderness
