Four Pearls Inlaid Ornament [43- 45] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Four Pearls Inlaid Ornament [43- 45]

43. When shame leaves, sensibility shrinks. On reining in
the five senses, the spell of evil forces ceases.
No water spoils the harvests of the green crops.
No care in the welfare of the friend, ruins friendship.

44. On forgetting the good acts of the friends, your gratitude ruins.
Guests to the loveless hosts will be anxious.Singing rare songs
before the charlatan of music is fruitless.
No use of resenting a hubby who knows not the joy of union.

45. The scent of flowers reveals their presence.
One's words show one's skill in doing things.
On probing, we see the mind indicating the ingrained evil.
Nothing predicts the evil mind better than the face.
