49. Even tasty food gives troubles to the sick body.
The fools get entangled in troubles by their own words.
Evil deeds of the past birth grieve us in the present.
An unchecked king is ruined by his own forces.

50. One should hate and rid of insulting words on others.
One should accept the firm words of the wise men.
Truthful virtues need to be adopted.
Probe many works to choose little things of truth.


51. There are tanks to intake all the floods of a river.
There are citizens liked by the great kings.
There are old songs giving the truths of holy hymns.
Helping others with material things equals the sacrifice.

52. A man who has his own oxen for ploughing is the farmer.
As the cock charms the hen, a priest goes together with others.
She who has beauty and knowledge is the apt prop to family life.
A great chief of an army stays together with the soldiers.

53. The owner of an elephant delights at its anger.
The kings cheer at their steeds galloping fast.
Men with character want to see the flush of the good wenches.
Bad men want to see bad qualities in bad women.

54. The eyes are the excellent parts of one's body.
A husband is the closest kin to a woman.
The children are the worthiest things to the parents.
A mother is a supreme deity to the children.
