Fraudulent Claims Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Fraudulent Claims

So many these days,
Seek ways for attention to get.
Even to make fraudulent claims.
With a picking those who have obtained...
A name and credibility.
In the hopes they will respond.
Giving the ones,
Having nothing else...
In their empty lives to do.
But to prove how insecure,
And unstable are minds with time to find...
Spending them suspended,
In a fantasized World.
Where a living in a alternate Universe,
They can do exclusively...
Flawed, false and fraudulently shared.
With others equally living,
Free and distant from reality.

"I heard you were worth,
FIVE MILLION DOLLARS! "

-NO.
You read that on a factless website.
Made up by a quack whacked out on crack.
Or something similar to that.
Lacking truth but high on fantasy.
With nothing else to do,
But to create it.
After searching through stacks of fiction! -
