I roamed about last night
On the wings of my dream
I went and sat on a garden seat
Listened to the birds and bees

I dipped my feet in the garden pond
Where colourful fishes swam
Lilies bloomed in one corner
On the other floated swans

Last night I sat on a mountain top
Looking down at the valley
At the miles and miles of tea bushes
And the springs running down the sides

Down I flew on my golden wings
To roam on the gentle plains
Rice fields waving in the breeze
Tossing their golden grains

With my aching limbs I went to the shore
To lie down on the sands
Watching the moon rising from the water
Waving its silver wand
